Epidural & Caudal
Epidural anaesthesia has served as a proven anaesthetic method. Therefore, Pajunk offers a wide range of needles and catheters for safe Epidural and Caudal Anaesthesia. The offering includes Crawford and Tuohy needles in different sizes and lenghts as well as EpiLong Nylon and EpiLong Soft Springwound catheters..
With EpiSpin and EpiSpin Lock, Pajunk makes it possible to use the combined spinal-epidural technique in one sophisticated product. While spinal anaesthesia can take action rapidly, epidural anaesthesia allows for post-op pain management and is escpecially suitable for labour anaesthesia. The EpiSpin and EpiSpin Lock products are available as stand-alone needles or as full CSE catheter sets.
As one of the major providers of Regional Anaesthesia products, Pajunk also provides a wide range of wound infiltration solutions. The offering includes single shot local infiltration needles, continuous wound infiltration catheters as well as pain pumps and accessories.
Pajunk is offering the widest range of stimulating and echogenic products for single shot and continuous nerve block procedures. From the very beginning Pajunk has been the pioneer in ultrasound guided nerve blocks. The NanoLine coating technology (2004) and the Cornerstone Reflectors (2009) set the basis for the introduction of the first ultrasound optimized nerve block needle in 2009 – the SonoPlex. Several independent publications and thousands of users worldwide have confirmed the SonoPlex to be the best echogenic needle available. The needle offers second to none needle shaft and needle tip visibility under ultrasound, even at steep angles.
Together with the founders of Pajunk, Prof. Dr. Sprotte developed the first atraumatic spinal needle, which has revolutionized and revived the field of Spinal regional anesthesia in the early 1980's. With the introduction of the Sprotte needle, Pajunk turned into a world market leader in atraumatic spinal needles, allowing clinicians to perform safer spinals and significantly reducing PDPH rates. Pajunk offers the Sprotte needle as a single shot option and as a continous spinal anaesthesia catheter system.
